Our Little House program offers much more than just childcare. The classrooms are carefully designed to foster your child's natural desire to explore and learn. In the first three years of life, your child develops more quickly than at any other stage in life. During these early years, your child absorbs large amounts of information form the environment through observation and interaction. These early experiences will lay the foundation for later learning that you child will be able to build upon. The environment offers activities to promote independence, order, coordination and concentrations, as well as support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. These activities include:
-Self-care: washing hands, dressing, toileting, and eating,
-Care of environment: putting their lessons ways, cleaning, and plant and animal care.
-Large motor activities (indoor and outdoor): walking, climbing, running, jumping,
balancing, and going up and down the stairs.
-Fine motor skills: reaching, grasping, picking up objects, transferring objects, using tools
and utensils, drawing, coloring, and painting.
-Language development: naming objects, discussing pictures, conversations, identifying and
labeling emotions, music and singing.
-Social skills: developing manners through interactions with peers and teachers.
