Founded in 1982 by Dr. Virginia Remko, Montessori Academy provides quality education during the crucial early years for Montgomery area children.
Located in Montgomery’s tree-lined historic district, the Montessori Academy campus includes four shady playgrounds and three spacious buildings.
What is Montessori? – Method, Toys & Environment Explained
The purpose of a Montessori classroom is to give each child the opportunity to experience the excitement of the learning process through choice and active participation.
The intention is to foster an environment that assists the child in developing and perfecting all of the natural inclinations toward learning. Our staff provide an environment that offers guidance, structure and focus while also fostering social and academic accomplishments.
